For Father’s Day this year we will be singing a medley of Love is Spoken Here and The Family is of God. Since my primary kids don’t know . . . well . . . either of those songs, I’ve got to teach them the second verse of Love is Spoken Here to begin with.

I’ve put together a flipchart.

I plan to cut the words off the bottoms and have the kids match the words to the pictures to help teach.

Tomorrow I’m going to be introducing ‘When I am Baptized’ to my Primary. I’ve put together two different activities – one for Junior, one for Senior – and if you want to use them you can print and go. Well. As long as you have scissors.

For Junior I’m going to give them picture clues to see if they can figure out what song we’re going to sing, and then put them in the right order. (I’ve only done the first verse/chorus.)

For Senior I’ve made a file with the first letter of every word in the song (both verses, two copies of the chorus). I’m planning to cut them apart and hand them out to Senior Primary and see if they can put it together.
