Prodigal Son Stick Puppets or Flannel Board Figures

(Click here to go back to Primary Printables.)

I created this set of figures for a Sharing Time about repentance where we went over the story of the Prodigal Son. I printed them out on cardstock and glued the figures to large popsicle sticks to make puppets, but they would work well as flannel board figures, as well. The set includes Happy Prodigal, Sad Prodigal, Father, Older Brother, Money Bag, and Pigs. Lots of pigs. Click on the picture to access the full PDF!

Thank you. I plan to use these as stick puppets, each held by a different child at our monthly children’s mass next month. I will have them act out the story. No rehearsal. Natural actors. Should be fun. Always unpredictable. Great idea. Thank you.

Thank You! I have been making my own sad little stick puppets every week, as I retell the Bible story. I work with very young kids and they love using stick puppets with a rebus style story!
